SOmething to remember you by - 2026

Something to Remember You By is a piece about the significance of photography as a means of connecting to my family's history. By combining scans of old photographs with cyanotypes in a mixed media collage, I interweave the past with the present. This piece highlights several of my favorite photos taken by relatives throughout the years between Missouri, Minnesota and California. The cyanotypes, rooted in analog photographic practices, act as a physical bridge to moments in time. Making this work has connected me with those who created before me.
